I thought I would give you a run down of my favourite local stores and a taste of the essential products they provide:
1. Market Deeping Antiques and Craft Centre – Market Deeping
Most of you will know that this amazing treasure trove of a store used to be the original Riverside HQ. We’ve still got a small outlet unit in there so it’s worth a rummage to see what bargains you can find. Aside from us there’s a myriad of products from antiques and collectibles to home decoration, knitting supplies and models. They are an excellent destination for gifts and home and lighting decor too.
2. Branch Brothers Hardware Store – Deeping Saint James
Branch Bros is just down the road from Riverside Beads and Crafts. They are a small franchise of hardware stores selling anything from roofing felt, paint and wood to small machinery and practicality every kind of sealant you can imagine! Click here to view their website.
3. The Deeping Bed Shop – Market Deeping
I think we all appreciate the comfort of a good bed! These guys have been in business for more than 30 years and they really know their stuff. Buying a bed or mattress isn’t really something you can do well over the internet so it is nice to know there is a local, safe place to shop. They offer free delivery within 25 miles of Market Deeping and they will take away your old bed/mattress too. They’ve got a huge amount of stock to choose from and most items can be delivered the very same day you purchase. Click here to view their website.
4. Godsey Lane Cafe – Market Deeping
Our beautiful neighbours make amazing sweet treats, bakes and savouries including paninis, scones and cake! Their coffee is some of the best in town and you can order online to take away.

5. Nottys – Market Deeping
While I’m talking about all things yummy I can’t go without mentioning my favourite wine bar Nottys.
Their beautiful abode is a haven of relaxation and fine wine. If the grape isn’t your tipple then they have lots of other drinks from juices to ales on offer. Light bites include olive trays and sharing platters for a taste of the Mediterranean in little old Lincolnshire! Click here to view their website.
6. Riverside Beads and Crafts – Market Deeping
I couldn’t finish without mentioning us – we sell a huge range of products from fabric, enamel and acrylic paints, felt and fabrics, beads, findings, cord, sewing supplies (including elastic and Velcro), paper, card, specialist glues and inks, feathers, buttons, charms, art supplies, wooden and polystyrene items, stationery, gift wrap and honestly so much more.
