Paint Your Own Pet Workshop – Cuppa & Canvas Class

Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our relaxed and creative Paint Your Own Pet Workshop, guided by artist Charlotte Shearman Smith.

In this friendly daytime class, you will create your own pet portrait on an A3 canvas using acrylic paints. This workshop is perfect for beginners and offers a more flexible, guided approach to painting.

Unlike our more structured painting classes, this session is designed to help you create a painting of your own pet. Charlotte will guide you throughout, while giving you the freedom to work from your own reference photo and develop your own style.

You will learn simple and effective acrylic painting techniques, including how to sketch your subject, build layers, and use colour to capture your pet’s character. As you work, you will gain confidence and enjoy seeing your painting come to life.

At the same time, you can relax and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere. As part of our Cuppa & Canvas workshops, complimentary hot and cold drinks are included, making this a calm and enjoyable creative experience.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone looking to create a meaningful and personal piece of art.
