Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our festive and fun Gonk Painting Workshop, guided by artist Charlotte Shearman Smith.

Available as both a daytime Cuppa & Canvas workshop and an evening Brush & Booze Craft & Sip event, this creative class is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing painting session while creating a cheerful Christmas-themed artwork.

During the workshop, you will paint your own festive gonk design onto an A3 canvas using acrylic paints. Charlotte will guide you through the project step by step, making it easy to follow even if you have never painted before.

You will learn simple acrylic painting techniques while exploring colour, brushwork, shading, and detail. As your painting develops, you’ll gain confidence and enjoy bringing your festive character to life.

The workshop follows a structured design while allowing plenty of opportunity to personalise your artwork with your own colours, patterns, and creative touches. This means every finished painting will be unique.

The daytime sessions form part of our popular Cuppa & Canvas programme and include complimentary hot and cold drinks. Evening sessions are part of our Brush & Booze Craft & Sip events, where you’re welcome to bring your favourite drink and enjoy a relaxed creative night out.
