Gonk Painting Workshop

Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our fun and festive Gonk Painting Workshop, daytime workshops are part of our Cuppa & Canvas sessions and the evening ones are BYO part of our Craft & Sip – Brush & Booze events, guided by artist Charlotte Shearman Smith.

In this relaxed class, you will create your own gonk painting on an A3 canvas using acrylic paints. This workshop follows a step-by-step format, making it easy to follow and ideal for beginners.

Charlotte will guide you through each stage of the painting. You will learn simple techniques to help you build your design, use colour, and add detail. As you work, you will gain confidence and enjoy bringing your festive character to life.

This workshop offers a structured approach, where you will follow a featured design while adding your own creative touches. As a result, each finished painting will be unique.

At the same time, you can enjoy a relaxed and social atmosphere. Either with a cuppa or as part of our Brush & Booze Craft & Sip evenings, this is a bring your own drink (BYO) event, so you can sip, unwind, and enjoy a creative night out.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone looking to get into the festive spirit with a fun and creative activity.
