Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our creative Fused Glass Lantern Workshop, led by expert tutor Angela from The Glass Hippie.

During this hands-on class, you will design and create your own fused glass lantern. As a result, you’ll leave with a beautiful glowing centrepiece to display at home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.

First, Angela will introduce you to the materials and tools. Then, she will guide you step by step through the process of designing your glass panels. You’ll work with a stunning selection of coloured glass, textures, and decorative elements.

Next, you’ll begin building your design. You can choose a modern style, a decorative look, or something completely unique. As you work, you’ll learn how to layer glass and combine colours effectively.

After the workshop, your pieces will be kiln-fired. This process fuses the glass together and creates a strong, polished finish. Once ready, your panels will be assembled into your lantern.
