Cyanotype Printing Workshop
Join our new workshop for 2024 a Cyanotype Printing Workshop with artist Charlotte Shearman Smith. Charlotte will guide you through the step by step process to create your own unique printing.
Cyanotype is a method of printing similar to processing photographs. Charlotte will guide you through the techniques required to learn to print in beautiful blue tones to gain depth and tone in your prints. We will work with a selection of seasonal flowers and leaves and some craft embellishments and trims to gain varied effects.  We may be able to process these if it is a sunny day but we do have a UV lamp to encourage the process if needed!
You will create some small pieces to take home which are perfect for framing or using in your craft projects.
You do not need to have previous experience to join this class. This informal workshop is the perfect workshop to enjoy with friends or come along on your own. We will work through each of the steps you need in order to learn the art of cyanotype print. You will be taught easy and effective skills to help you make the most of your course.
The workshop is suitable for beginners. This workshop also includes materials, tools and refreshments too. Age 12+ are welcome on this course. Our expert artist will guide you through to create a unique design created by you.
