Christmas Wreath Workshop 2026 – Festive Floristry Class

Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our popular Christmas Wreath Workshop 2026, guided by Riverside owner and tutor Donna McKean Smith.

This festive workshop is the perfect way to begin the Christmas season. During the session, you will create your own luxury fresh wreath using traditional wreath-making techniques and beautiful seasonal foliage.

Working on a 12-inch wire frame, you will build your wreath on a traditional moss base. You will then add a generous selection of fresh greenery and seasonal foliage to create texture, shape, and festive character.

Donna will guide you through each stage of the process. You will learn how to build a balanced wreath, attach foliage securely, and finish your design with confidence.

Once your base is complete, you can personalise your wreath using items from our festive wreath bar. This may include pine cones, dried fruit, ribbons, and seasonal embellishments. You are also welcome to bring your own decorations if you would like to add something personal.

No previous floristry experience is needed. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as anyone who has made a wreath before and would like to create a new design for Christmas 2026.

Because we work with fresh foliage, the exact materials may vary between sessions. The images shown are examples from previous workshops and are intended to show the style and variety of wreaths you can create. We will always provide a generous selection of seasonal greenery and decorative materials.

To make the experience even more enjoyable, you will receive a welcome drink and seasonal snack on arrival.
