Brush Calligraphy Workshop

Join Sue Smith for a creative Brush Calligraphy Workshop.  Suitable for all hand letter writers to develop their skills, but also for beginners to learn as we cover the basics techniques.

This class is perfect if you would like to continue with this creative skill. Also, if you haven’t previously tried any form of brush lettering, then you will learn the basic skills in this workshop. Using a quality firm nib brush pen provided during the class, you will work on italic letter formation. Learn when to apply pressure and learn the skills to develop the techniques needed to create beautiful bespoke lettering. We will also practice some flourishing options, to make our lettering even more appealing.

This class is to learn the art of brush calligraphy lettering, you will work through the practice sheets to learn different techniques throughout the session.  We will finish the session with an option to create a tag or card to take home.

Like any new skill your technique improves with practice and you will be provided with a pen to keep after the workshop and practice sheets to work with during the session.  There will also be an option to buy extra worksheets and other pen options to practice with at home.
