Christmas Wreath Workshop 2026 – Festive Floristry Class

Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our popular Christmas Wreath Workshop 2026, guided by Riversides owner and tutor Donna McKean Smith.

This festive and creative workshop is the perfect way to begin the Christmas season. During the session, you will create your own luxury fresh Christmas wreath using traditional wreath making techniques and beautiful seasonal foliage. Whether you are attending with friends, family, or coming along for some creative festive time for yourself, this workshop offers a cosy and enjoyable seasonal experience.

Working on a 12-inch wire frame, you will build your wreath on a traditional moss base using a wide selection of fresh greenery and seasonal foliage. As you work through the design, Donna will guide you step by step, helping you create a wreath that is full of texture, colour, and festive character.

You will also be able to personalise your wreath using items from our festive wreath bar, which includes decorations such as pine cones, dried fruit, and seasonal embellishments. You are also welcome to bring your own decorations if you would like to add a personal touch to your design.

No previous floristry experience is needed for this workshop. The techniques are suitable for beginners, and we will support you in a group setting throughout the session so you can enjoy the process and leave with a wreath you will feel proud to display at home.

Because we work with fresh foliage, materials may vary slightly between workshops depending on seasonal availability. The images shown are examples from previous years and are intended to demonstrate the style and variety of wreaths created during the class. We always provide a beautiful and generous selection of materials to work with.

To make the experience even more special, you will receive a welcome drink and seasonal snack on arrival.
