Stained Glass & Oak Bookends Workshop

Join our Stained Glass & Oak Bookends Workshop at Riverside Beads & Crafts, Market Deeping and enhance your stained glass skills while creating a stunning functional piece for your home. This 6-hour hands-on workshop is ideal for anyone who has tried stained glass before and wants to build confidence and expertise in the craft.

During the session, you’ll cut, grind, foil, and solder your chosen glass into two panels, which will then be set into solid oak bases to form a pair of Art Deco-inspired bookends. Bev (glass) and John (wood) will provide step-by-step guidance to help you create a polished and professional-looking finished piece.

A variety of coloured glass will be available, allowing you to personalise your project. All materials and tools are provided, including safety gloves, glasses, and aprons, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Health and Safety:

• Please do not wear open-toe shoes
• Aprons provided — wear suitable clothing for crafting
• Due to the lead content in the solder, this class is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Not suitable for children under 14 (participants aged 14–16 must be accompanied by an adult)
