Memory Bear Workshop
Join Emma Drake and Riverside for a creative Memory Bear Workshop. In this class, you will sew your very own precious memory bear that will hold fond memories. Make your bear from personal garments like baby clothes, relatives’ clothing, or school uniforms.
Emma is an excellent and talented, passionate, young seamstress who has been sewing as a hobby for many years. As a member of the Riverside team, she loves being creative. During this class, Emma will guide you through a clear pattern with full support to help you achieve the best memory bear. Many materials used in the class are available from Riverside Beads & Crafts.
What you need to know:
- You will need to be experienced with your own sewing machine.
- Please bring your working machine, threads and fabric scissors to use on the day.
- You will need to bring your own fabric, approx 6-8 adult sized garments or lots of little baby ones (preferred is shirt/cotton material as it won’t stretch as much and will be much easier to sew).
- Materials included in this workshop are stuffing, safety eyes & noses.
- This full-day workshop runs from 10:00 – 16:00. Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch. Alternatively, you can explore Godsey Lane Coffee, located nearby, which offers a delightful variety of lunches and beverages. Click here to view their menu.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have booked onto a workshop it is non-refundable. We can offer a transfer to an alternative date or you can switch to a different workshop providing you give us at least 7 days notice (subject to class availability). Any difference in price can be added as a credit against products or future workshops. Bookings cancelled after this time are not able to be transferred.
