Feather Light Catcher Stained Glass Workshop

Join our new workshop for 2025 Feather Light Catcher Stained Glass Workshop with artists Bev & John. Learn the Tiffany method of stained glass creating your own colourful feather light catcher, during this 3-4 hour taster workshop. Suitable for beginners, no previous experience is necessary. Our glass tutors Bev and John will guide you through the process from cutting and grinding the glass, foiling the edges with copper tape, soldering the pieces together and finishing your piece ready to hang.  You will be able to choose from a selection of coloured glass to make the feather your own.

You do not need to have previous experience to join this class.  This informal workshop is the perfect workshop to enjoy with friends or come along on your own. We will work through each of the steps you need in order to make a beautiful glass sun catcher.

What you need to know:-

• This workshops includes materials and use of tools
• This workshop is in our classroom instore
• Hot and cold drinks are available
• Please do not wear open toe shoes.
• Due to the lead content in the solder, the course is not suitable if you are pregnant or breast feeding
• Not suitable for children under 14 (any children over 14 should be accompanied by an adult)
• We have aprons available – please also wear appropriate clothes to work in (incase you spill any on yourselves)
• Also available for private group bookings
