Braided and Beaded Kumihimo Workshop

Would you like to learn more about the art of Kumihimo?  Our popular Braided and Beaded Kumihimo Workshop will teach you this art of Japanese braiding.

During this class Donna will teach you the art of braided and beaded Kumihimo.  We will create a 8 braid bracelet with cord and a beaded bracelet both on a round Kumihimo disk.  The materials we will use will include satin cord, 0.6mm s-lon, 2 colours of beads and a end caps.

Donna is Riverside Beads and Crafts owner and has 20 years experience teaching in the craft industry.  Donna is author or 2 Kumihimo books and brings her knowledge of Kumihimo to you during this workshop.

Tools we will use (provided on the class to use) :-

Round Kumihimo disc (large or small)
Scissors
Nymo or Sewing thread
E6000 glue or equivalent

What you need to know:-

• All our workshops include materials in the cost
• If you have your own Kumihimo disk please feel free to bring it, one will be available to borrow or buy on the day.
• Held instore at our bead and craft shop.
