7 Strand Braiding Workshop

Exclusive to Riverside Beads you can join Donna to learn how to create a corded bracelet on our 7 Strand Braiding Workshop.

During this class Donna will teach you how to create a braid on our exclusive 7 strand braiding disk.  Use satin cord in a colour of your choice Donna will guide you through the process of braiding.   This technique is popular amongst Kumihimo enthusiasts although it is a technique thought to be founded by the Vikings using a trollen wheel.

Donna is Riverside Beads and Crafts owner and has 22 years experience teaching in the craft industry.  Donna is the author of 2 Kumihimo books and brings her knowledge of Kumihimo to you during this workshop.

Tools we will use (provided on the class to use) :-

7 Strand Braiding disk
Scissors
Nymo or Sewing thread
E6000 glue or equivalent

What you need to know:-

• All our workshops include materials in the cost
• If you have your own 7 strand disk please feel free to bring it, one will be available to borrow or buy on the day.
• Held instore at our bead and craft shop.
