Some projects may be quick festive makes. Others may introduce different techniques or give you a little more time to bead. Most importantly, all 12 designs are brand new for the 2026 calendar.
We’re keeping the contents secret so you can enjoy the surprise!
How Does the Beading Advent Calendar Work?
There are two lovely ways to enjoy your calendar.
Start opening your projects on 1st December and enjoy a new beading project as we reveal each design. This gives you plenty of time to make your projects throughout December.
Alternatively, save your calendar until 12 days before Christmas. You can then open one project each day as you count down to Christmas.
Of course, you can also work through the projects completely at your own pace.
Join Our Daily Project Reveals
The fun doesn’t stop when you open your calendar!
Starting on 1st December 2026, join Riverside Beads on social media at 10am each day as we reveal the next project.
You can discover the finished design and then enjoy creating your own version at home.
It’s also a lovely opportunity to follow along with the Riverside Beads community. Plus, you can see what other beaders are making from their calendars.

What Beading Tools Will I Need?
The calendar includes the beads and components needed for the featured designs. However, as the projects cover a range of techniques, we recommend having a basic collection of jewellery-making tools and supplies available.
You may find the following useful:
Beading Tools (round nose, flat nose, chain nose and cutters)
Beading Mat
Bead Weaving Thread (such as Nymo, KO or Wildfire)
Beading Needles
Jewellery Glue (E6000 or Hypo Cement or both may come in useful)
These tools are not included unless specifically stated. However, they can be used again for many future Riverside Beads projects.
