Christmas has definitely pranced into town this week at Riverside Towers. Our shop is looking particularly festive, Santa delivered all of our secret Santa gifts AND we had a rocking Christmas party on Friday!
I don’t always get a chance to show you my wonderful Riverside team, so here’s a lovely photo of all of my elves on our big night out…
Don’t they all look fabulous? From my dear momma-elf Gaynor to my right hand-elf Caroline, they are a band of merry and talented ladies, each and every one! Do pop into the shop if you’re ever nearby and meet them all.
As part of our Christmas celebrations we always have a team workshop and this year we mastered (ish!) the beautiful art of paper cutting. If you’d like to try your hand at a new craft or jewellery making skill then you must check out our New Year sale on workshops, which are all online now.
I teach several workshops myself at the Riverside Makery, including silver clay jewellery making and a new Kumihimo necklace class, but do book now if you want to attend these as they sell out super fast.
If you’re not sure what you’d like to try then we also offer free group taster sessions, where you can try making little projects like creating angel charms or simple Kumihimo pieces. To book your craft group onto a free session all you need to do is get in touch here.
Whilst I’m chatting I should probably mention our Christmas opening hours as this will be the last blog before the big day. We are Closed Christmas Eve, Closed Christmas day, closed Boxing Day and then its 10am-5pm for the rest of week, 11am-2pm New Years Eve, closed New Years day and then back to normal from the 2nd January 2018.
Phew I’m exhausted just thinking about it all!
Anyway I hope that you’re nearly set for Christmas, whatever you have planned. If you’ve left the Christmas shopping until the last minute then we’ve got lots of lovely gift ideas in store and online, so if you’re stuck for a present why not take a look, you could even ask one of the elves for some assistance!
A great Christmas gift is one of our great new kits. It’s hard to choose which one but my new favourite is our lava bead bracelet, which combines two of my passions; jewellery making and aromatherapy. The lava Beads hold the scent of any essential oil, making it a really unique piece that can be personalised using not just essential oils but someone’s special perfume as well.
Before I go I must tell you that I’m on Create and Craft TV this Thursday at 5pm. It’s a slightly later time slot than usual and I’ve got a fabulous product line up, so be sure to tune in!
