Hello Beautiful Beaders,
Can you believe that Autumn is finally here and Christmas is on its way? The leaves have started to turn and the heating has (almost) been fully turned on. We’ve had a wonderful summer but I am secretly excited to have the nights drawing in earlier, just so I can huddle down in my craft room and create some beautiful new Beading designs for you all.
I am also going to make a concerted effort to make my own Christmas cards this year. Our lovely in-store paper craft guru Caroline always puts me to shame with her amazing creations. In fact if you need any advice with your projects then don’t forget that you can always pop in and see the oracle herself!
If you prefer to buy your cards…and decorations….and gifts….and, well everything, then you should really head down to our store on the last weekend of every month. This is when we are hosting a small Christmas Market which will feature stalls selling beautiful handmade quilts, candles, hair accessories, knitted pieces and much, much more. Plus there are super cute gifts and stocking fillers including brand names such as Cath Kidston and Sass and Belle.
The idea is to support local crafters and small businesses and we need your support so please tell all of your friends and family to come down and have a shop and a chat. Some of the Stall holders have a wealth of knowledge so it’s worth a visit even if it’s just to chew the fat!

In other news; I’m very excited for my show on Create & Craft TV next Wednesday 3rd October at 9am, when I will be launching my Kumihimo book on air. As I’ve mentioned before, this book has been in the works for around 3 years, so it’s a dream come true to see it in print finally. Your feedback on the projects has been wonderful, thank you so much, and huge thanks to my wonderful publisher Search Press Art and Craft Books.
