Honeycomb & Bee Light Catcher Workshop – Stained Glass Tiffany Method

Join us at Riverside Beads & Crafts in Market Deeping, near Peterborough for our Honeycomb & Bee Light Catcher Workshop. In this immersive 3–4 hour stained glass class, you’ll learn how to create a beautiful hanging decoration using the traditional copper foiling (Tiffany) method.

Guided by experienced glass tutors Bev & John, you’ll work step by step through the process of creating your own honeycomb light catcher. You’ll begin by selecting from a range of honey and amber-toned stained glass, then learn how to cut and grind your pieces to shape.

As the workshop progresses, you’ll apply copper foil to the edges of your glass, before carefully soldering the pieces together to form your finished design. Finally, you’ll add a charming bee detail and complete your light catcher, ready to hang and catch the light beautifully in your home.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as anyone looking to try a new craft and learn traditional stained glass techniques in a supportive and hands-on environment.

• Due to the lead content in solder, this workshop is not suitable during pregnancy
• Safety gloves, glasses, and aprons will be provided
• You will be expected to follow all safety instructions during the session
