Feather Light Catcher Stained Glass Workshop
Discover the beauty of stained glass in our Feather Light Catcher Stained Glass Workshop, a new addition to our 2025 programme at Riverside Beads in Market Deeping, near Peterborough. Join talented glass artists Bev and John as they guide you through the Tiffany method of stained glass, creating your very own colourful feather light catcher to take home.
This 3–4 hour taster workshop is perfect for complete beginners — no prior experience is needed. Bev and John will lead you step by step through each stage of the process, including cutting and grinding glass, foiling with copper tape, soldering, and finishing your piece ready to display. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from a selection of beautiful coloured glass to make your feather unique.
As you’ll be working with glass, heat, and chemicals, safety equipment including gloves, glasses, and aprons will be provided, and all participants are expected to follow safety guidance during the session. Please note that glass colours may vary depending on availability.
