Birthstone Rivoli Collection 1
The Birthstone Rivoli Collection 1 is a fantastic kit designed by Riverside Beads and inspired by Sue Morris. It uses Delica beads and Preciosa Seed Bead combined with pearls and crystals. It is perfect for creating bracelets, necklaces and pendants.
This is the 1st in our birthstone collection and it includes rivolis in the birthstone colours for January, February and March.
Red is the birthstone colour for January.
Purple is the birthstone colour for February.
Aquamarine is the birthstone colour for March.
The origin of birthstones is said to derive from the breast-plate of Aaron. Legend says that it contained twelve gemstones for the twelve tribes of Israel. You’ll find the concept of birthstones found in many traditions, customs and belief systems.
The kit includes 5 clasps so you can make up to 5 bracelets or 3 necklaces in the inside out Daisy Chain pattern. Use the pattern included to create 6 beaded rivolis for use within your necklace or bracelet designs. Alternatively add a peyote beaded bail to use on an alternative necklace. This versatile kit enables you to make individual elements for use in various colour combinations.
The kit includes the instructions for the inside out daisy chain braid and a beaded rivoli plus a peyote bail.
