"I'm Lovin' Angels Instead" - Riverside Beads

“I’m Lovin’ Angels Instead”

Hello Beautiful Beaders,

Someone asked me recently why I love Angels so very much, and how they became so synonymous with Riverside Beads.

Well it’s nothing to do with Robbie Williams I can tell you that much!

Angel

Angels are generally known as supernatural beings found in various religions and mythologies. In Abrahamic religions and Zoroastrianism, angels are often depicted as benevolent celestial beings who act as intermediaries between God or Heaven and Humanity. In modern day it’s often believed that Angels protect and guide human beings, as they continue to be immortalised as icons, jewellery and even grandeoise statues like the Angel of the North.

I’m definitely more of the latter day thinking. I believe in hope and positive thinking and the idea that these beautiful little Angel charms can put a smile on someone’s face each time they see them.

We started with just one little Sparkle Spacer Angel and, because we named it after one of our lovely ladies in the shop, of course more had to follow!

Our newest addition is the Eve Angel, alongside maverick Dave the Dragonfly, which both continue the tradition by being named after lovely friends and family. (Some of you will know Eve Marshall, our very talented artisan needle felting expert!)

Both are fabulous kits containing all you need to make 20 pieces and are just £14.99 each. That’s less than 75p per charm! Click here to find out more.

I’m bringing back more of our popular pearly bum Angels on my next Create & Craft TV show, on Wednesday 11th April at 9am.
As well as that I’ll be showing you some Kumihimo plus our new needle felting kits. So make sure you tune in or catch up by clicking here.

I’m so crazy about the little angelic creatures that I’m even giving away FREE Flora Angels with every online purchase. This is only while stocks last though, so get yours soon!

Ok so enough of the Angels already right? Ha ha, ok I read you loud and clear. Moving on…I wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone who joined us at our Dabble Day. We had such an amazing time and raised hundreds of pounds for the wonderful Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice.

Our next one is on Sunday 14th October 2018, if you haven’t already taken part then pop it into your diary. Lots of fun for a very worthy cause.

If you can’t make it over to us in Market Deeping then maybe we will see you at the Big Bead show next week. Remember if you stop by and tell us you’re a blog reader that you get a mystery free gift! 🎁

Until next time happy beading my beautiful blog reading Angels!
